The infrastructure that is used to support cloud hosting is quite high-tech and sophisticated. Quality is the main focus because most businesses that pick this form of hosting are big businesses and large enterprises. The biggest benefit of this type of hosting is that you are never playing within defined boundaries. If at any given moment your website needs more resources than has been allocated to it originally, you can go ahead and use more resources and pay for them.

Scalability is a breeze with this type of hosting because you are already resting in an environment where there are resources available to you at all times. Disaster recovery is another thing that cloud hosting does better than any other form of hosting. When you are being hosted in the cloud your website is being supported by servers located in many different locations. If a natural disaster hit one datacenter it will have virtually no effect on the performance of your website because your website will straight away start using resources from another server in the cloud.
