Be regular with your emails. You don’t have to send them every day but long gaps can be hurting as well. Keep a certain pace of sending emails to your customers. Too many of them can make you end up in the spam folder. Too few of them will make your customer ignore you completely. Design your emails according to the modern needs. Not all customers will be reading your email on a computer or laptop. In fact, in the most developed counties more people will be reading your emails on their smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices.
Personalizing emails is another important thing to give attention to. If your email looks as if it has been directed at a massive crowd, your customers will mostly neglect it. Use the name of your customer and sound as if you personally know the customer. Make sure you are informing your customers about your new service, product or event – not selling it. Keep your subjects simple and make sure you are using power words in order to make your customers notice your emails. Don’t work on the email for too long. The more you work on it the more artificial and scripted you will make it.
It is true that videos and images can always attract customers more but don’t consider them as necessary parts of your email. Not everyone in this world has the best internet connection. Inserting too many images in your email could make it heavy and consequently the email will take a lot of time in loading. Too much loading time means your email gets deleted by the customer. Use simple words in your emails and keep the content easily readable. Don’t add too much stuff and use colors that are soothing to eyes. It’s best that you request politely and in a unique way to your customers to add your email address in their contacts.
