When it was time to change my last keyboard, I decided to give Roger Black Wide Ultimate a shot. With a robust backlit cassette, mechanical interior design, complete macro and programming support, and five extra keys to throw macros, the Roger Black Wide Ultimate offers a great feature set for gaming keyboards.
I’ve been a big fan of Roger’s gaming mice and headsets for years now, and it was interesting to know if their keyboards produced the same high quality results and reliance. If you want to get the cheap keyboards so then quiet gaming keyboard is the best option.
Marketing hype
As with most Roger products, the keyboard had a lot of marketing hype. The two biggest features of the keyboard are the mechanical keys and programming functions. Although a programming function can be found on many gaming keyboards, the mechanical keyboard can be difficult to come by. Rieger claims that this design provides a more responsive stroke with less travel and a stronger feel when typing. Mechanical keyboards are also considered to be easy to use for extended gaming sessions and to provide better ergonomic benefits than their membrane-based rivals.
Keyboard with aggressive angular
On opening the keyboard, I was presented with a high gloss black keyboard with aggressive angular design. The keyboard felt quite in my hands and also included the stand on the back to make it fit solid and stable on my desk. Along with having a glass desktop, I have many keyboards that like to shift and slide during intense use. Between the weight and the high grip rubber feet on the Razer Blackwave Ultimate, I have yet to experience this problem.
Heartbreaking keyboards
As the raid approached, I packed up the World of Warcraft and got ready to test the keyboard. The keys respond lightly and feel satisfying and heartbreaking. As a print therapist, splitting other decisions and strokes of the French are common. At first, I noticed that the sensitivity of the keys threw my rhythm a bit, but I felt I could really register someone’s stroke without completely pressing the key.
Windows ultimate support
By being able to double-tap the keys and move fast from one key to another, my overall response time was reduced and my command input increased. Provided by Roger Black Widow Ultimate through the extra macro keys, I can maintain great healing and emergency damage prevention within those fingertips for these wonderful moments. Best of all, after five hours of solid gaming my fingers and wrists felt good. There was no inconvenience or fatigue like I experienced with some keyboards. Warning – If you’re looking for a silent keyboard, the Razor Black Widow Ultimate is not the keyboard for you. However, I found that I enjoyed the sound of the Roger Black Wide Ultimate and felt the buttons provided directly.
Although its keyboard has significantly benefited my response times and total levels of action, it does take a bit of getting started to see its full benefits. For casual gamers, these benefits will probably be very modest. On the contrary, for competitive RTS, FPS and MMO players such as myself, the difference made by Roger Blackwood Ultimate was amazing and very noticeable.
