Getting a car inspected is just a common courtesy that has to be done when a car is being gifted to another person. Everyone is not going to be able to afford the vehicle that is being gifted to them so you should consider the upkeep of the car. That is one of the main things that need to be considered when the car is being gifted. You do not want to give someone a car if the car is going to a burden to them. The person that you are giving the car to needs to be able to afford the maintenance and basic things like gas.
