Do you know you can turn Shatter into e-liquid?

If you use e-cigarettes or you are a vapor, then you already know that the world of cannabis concentrates started a revolution in the way and style of vaping. Maybe a friend from your vaping club has an oz of Wax or some Shatter and wants to turn it into vapable e-liquid and enjoy an afternoon taking cannabis extracts on his favorite vape pen, with you. Keep reading to have more clues about THC concentrates and how to turn Shatter to e-liquid, upgrading your smoking experience to a whole new level.

1. What is Shatter?

Shatter is a highly concentrated form of cannabinoids extracted from marijuana flowers. It is one of the most famous extracts in the cannabis world thanks to its flavor and potency powered by up to 90% concentration of THC, this special type of BHO (Butane Hash Oil) or hash oil extracted with butane has a very characteristic appearance, clear and translucent often compared to a hardened crystal clear yellow honey, this is a golden gift from the process that makes it.

2. How is it made?

First, the vegetable matter, leaves, and buds are soaked in liquefied butane gas. Through the same system as the BHO, the trichomes (white and resinous crystals that concentrate the greatest amount of terpenes and cannabinoids) are separated from said plant matter. The solution obtained (extraction of trichomes) is heated to eliminate all butane gas remains, and, during the purge, it is stirred by hitting it. That is where the difference between the Wax and the Shatter lies since this second one is allowed to rest, does not stir, and does not get hot.

3. Can I turn Shatter into e-liquid for my vape pen?

Yes, with a liquidizer you can consume Shatter and Wax in your vape pen.

Probably, the most popular way to consume Shatter and concentrates is vaping. First, it is easy, in spite of the many different types of vaporizers on the market vary greatly, they all work in basically the same way: load and go.

As concentrates gain popularity, there are new ways to prepare and consume them. Available in multiple ways and consistencies many of them cannot be used on a steam pen and a directly usable liquid form can be very expensive and sometimes more difficult to find. This is where innovation kicks in again and changes everything, a new range of products called Blenders or Liquidizers allow you to liquefy Shatter into e-liquid for your vape pen, so that it can be set discreetly, on the move.

When solid concentrates are added to the vapor mixtures, the corrupted vape juice separates into layers. Not the case with blenders, which allow you to create a sweet E-juice that gives you the best vaping experience possible. The process of Shatter´s liquefaction and other concentrates is incredibly fast and easy and does not compromise or affect the quality of the product. In fact, it is even tastier than before undergoing liquefaction.

It takes nearly ten minutes to perform the entire blending operation. For the cannabis concentrate to dissolve well, the process must be carried out at the correct temperature, about 60 degrees Celsius, and following the indications of each product. The most important step is to beat the mixture well until a completely homogeneous liquid is achieved. One thing that you have to keep in mind is that marijuana derivatives that still contain plant debris, such as hashish, are not recommended for dissolution in liquidizers. Plant residues do not dissolve well and prevent the proper functioning of the vaporization hardware.

Blending mixes come in different flavors within which we can easily dissolve cannabis concentrates such as:

  • Crumble
  • Shatter
  • Budder
  • Wax

These are getting a homogeneous and stable liquid ready to be consumed in any e-liquids vaporization apparatus.

It is less messy than dabbing since the concentrate is completely contained within the vaporization apparatus and doesn’t require a lot of additional tools to use. Vapes are discreet. Even the largest hand models can fit in your pocket or be stored in a bag.

Although many concentrate lovers do not choose, they use both methods!

Most users want the ease and portability of a vape when they need it and the taste and full power that comes with the dab when the right moment arises.
