You never know when you may need to do a little basic image editing, however, and there are plenty of tools out there to help you get started – from written guides to YouTube videos, a small time investment could save you a massive headache down the line as you’re able to fix, adjust, or make small simple edits to a graphic that is vital. Not only that, but as with the previous point with a little extra knowledge of Excel, if you need to add a little flair to a presentation or graph that you’ve produced, being able to properly create, export, and edit it can make whatever you’re working on stand out from what has been seen before.

Where a basic understanding of the systems you use on a daily basis can help provide you with better insight and more understanding of how to solve small issues, a basic understand of tech skills that may fall outside of your ordinary area of expertise can help you out of a tough situation and even save you a little in the long run and may also help find some enjoyment in something new and developing your own skill set a little further than before.
