1. Reading the Text Books In-detail

NCERT Hindi books are a delightful read. It is suggested that the students read every chapter multiple times for better understanding. All the concepts must be clear so that if twisted questions are to come in the exam, the students will be able to answer them with ease. If possible, one can memorize a few lines from the poems and the prose and include them in his/her answer in the exam. This can impress the examiner and secure better marks for the student.

2. Writing Long and Short Question Answers

To obtain good marks, the students must understand what the question wants and how many marks it carries. Short questions and long questions are to be tackled differently. While the former need much smaller and concise answers the latter need in-depth and elaborate answers. Solving the exercise might help here to get an idea of how to handle these questions. But sometimes questions outside the practice sets might come in the exam. In that case, one is to understand the question first, and then write what is asked in accord with the marks it bears.
